Jumping in on the fall product announcement bandwagon, Amazon held an event yesterday to showcase its latest products. From making Alexa more conversational to introducing a new 10 gigabit router, here are the latest devices coming from Amazon.

On the software side, Amazon announced a new Alexa chat feature that takes advantage of generative AI. Also on Echo devices with a camera, you can start a conversation by facing the screen and talking. No need to say Alexa to wake up your device.
On the hardware side, the Echo Show 8 will come with upgraded specs, including proximity sensing. Certain elements of the screen, such as the font size, will be able to change based on how close you are to the device.
The Echo Frame Smart Glasses will boast an improved battery life and a slimmer design. Amazon says it has redesigned the audio experience on the glasses for better sound quality and less distortion.
Amazon’s Fire line is also getting some new products, including the 4K Max TV stick and a Bluetooth soundbar compatible with other Fire devices. Also, the Fire TV ambient experience will display calendars, reminders, and weather.
And finally, Amazon’s new Eero Max 7 can function as a router, range extender, and repeater all in one. It comes with 10 gigabit ethernet, 4.3 gigabit wireless, and the ability to link devices together to form a mesh network.
