Yesterday, Apple held an event announcing its newest products. Titled “Wanderlust,” the event introduced the world to the iPhone 15 series, the Apple Watch 9 series, and iOS 17. Here are the details on the newest products coming to Apple stores near you.

The new iPhone 15’s were the stars of the show. The new design brings rounded edges to all the phones, which means the dynamic island from the 14 Pro will now be on all phones. The screen on the 15 will be brighter and the devices come with upgraded cameras. Apple will also use machine learning to automatically switch to portrait mode when photographing a person.
The Pro and Pro Max will come with a titanium body. The action button from the Apple Watch will also make its first appearance on the Pro and Pro Max, replacing the mute switch.
Moving to the Apple Watch, the Watch 9 series has an upgraded chip that will make the phone faster and allow for more advanced features. Apple also introduced a new double tap gesture. Each app can set an action to perform when tapping the thumb and index finger twice. The Watch 2 Ultra gets many of the same upgrades as the members of the Watch 9 series.
And finally, Apple announced that the new features in iOS 17 and Watch OS 10, along with the latest versions of iPadOS and tvOS, will all be available to the public on September 18. Desktop and laptop computers will be able to upgrade to macOS Sonoma eight days later on September 26.
