Today marks the first day of Prime Day, which is actually two days of deals for Amazon Prime members. While Amazon will offer plenty of great deals over the next two days, there will also be scammers out looking to steal your money. Here are some of the scams you should be on the lookout for.

First, watch out for fake order confirmations. These fake order confirmation emails are a good way for criminals to conduct multiple attacks. The most common attack is directing you to a fake login page to phish your login details. As an alternate attack, the criminals may add a malicious attachment and claim that it contains the information on the order. Criminals could also combine both of those methods to form a two-pronged attack.

Second, emails claiming there is a problem with your payment are also common. These emails will say your payment was not approved and threaten to cancel the order unless you provide a new form of payment. Obviously, your credit card details are the main target of this attack, though as before, these emails could also include malicious attachments to form a more dangerous attack.

And third, while not technically a scam, watch out for deals that aren’t actually great deals. There will be plenty of great offers available over the next two days, but not every item that’s marked down will be a great deal. If you see something you want to buy, check out the product’s history on a site like CamelCamelCamel. You might find that the price is a great offer, but you could also learn that the item is often sold at an even better price
